1. What happens if I change bikes and need a different size Wheeldock? We have a factory exchange program to the original owner. For a charge of $50 we will exchange your old unit for any appropriate size. A Return Authorization (RA) is all that is required. Instructions for obtaining an RA are in the owner's manual. 2. What if I have two different sized front tires but only want to haul one bike at a time? Purchase a chock for the bike with the widest tire and a set of spacers for the narrower tire. When hauling the narrow tire just zip-tie the spacers into the chock. 3. What makes this stand work? The device operates by stepping on the release pedal. This actuates a nitrogen-filled gas cylinder which causes the shoe to move forward and secure the front tire. This force will also help push the bike fully into the stand. 4. How long will the nitrogen filled gas spring last? The gas spring from the factory is rated for 30,000 cycles with not more than 5% loss of force. We provide a 1-year warranty on the gas spring from the date of purchase. Additional air springs may be purchased from WHEELDOCK. 5. Do I need to bolt the WHEELDOCK to my garage floor? No, it will work freestanding as long as it is sitting only on its provided 3 points and not sitting on an obstical which allows it to pivot. More on this in the owner's manual, top of page 2. 6. How many sizes are available? WHEELDOCK currently makes 6 sizes for street bikes and 1 size for dirt bikes. All of our stands are designed with approximately 1/8" clearance between the tire and stand. This provides both a good fit and easy access in and out of the stand. Also, the shoe profile is different for each model. This difference creates 3 points of contact between the shoe and the tire, 2 points at the widest portion of the tire and 1 on the bottom of the tire. Sizing information may be obtained by using our search feature or by downloading our Tire-Sizing Gauge. 7. How do I mount or install my WHEELDOCK in a trailer? The WHEELDOCK comes with two 1/2" x 2" long stainless steel bolts, a 5/16" T-handle allen wrench, and special zinc-plated T-Nuts that lock into the floor from the bottom side. Once installed, the stand can be quickly removed with the supplied wrench and leaves your floor free of obstructions. See the owner's manual, middle of page 2. 8. Why would I need the Optional Quick-Release Transport Bar? If you plan to install / remove your WHEELDOCK repeatedly and the ears (or uprights of the Transport Bar) are not in the way in your trailer this is a very fast, no tools required, secure way to mount your WHEELDOCK stand. However, we don't recommend using the Transport Bar in Toy Haulers where the garage is also used as living space. See the owner's manual for mounting instructions, bottom of page 5. 9. Do I still need to strap my bike down for hauling? Yes, with 2 straps only at the middle of the bike to stabilize the left to right shake. See owner's manual with pictures, page 4. 10. What kind of warranty do you offer? When purchased from Wheeldock LLC we offer a 60-day SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. If for any reason the Wheeldock wheel chock does not perform to your complete satisfaction, just return it in the original shipping container for a full REFUND less shipping charges. Call our office for complete instructions on all returns. Also WHEELDOCK LLC provides to the original owner this limited lifetime warranty
